A hefty buyout
If Montana decides not to play a return game at UND in 2013, it will be a costly buyout for the Grizzlies.
UND's home-and-home football contract with Montana calls for a $100,000 buyout. After the home-and-home contract was announced earlier this week, there was some speculation that Montana may not return the game.
Can't imagine many Division I FCS teams willing to pay that much to skip out on a return game. But you never know.
UND will play at Montana next season, with the Griz scheduled to play in Grand Forks in 2013.
It's a great home-and-home contract for the Sioux. Landing one of the top FCS teams in the country is good for recruiting and ticket sales.

If Colorado, or Oregon or some school is willing to guarantee Montana $300,000 TO $400,000 to play, $100 grand isn’t that much

I wouldn’t trust Montana to honor the 2nd half of a home and home contract if my life depended on it. As previously stated, the Griz would drop the Sioux like a hot rock for an easy $100k payoff. Don’t believe me, as the Jackrabbit Admin.
