Summit to visit UND
The Summit League will visit UND on Nov. 1-2 to gather information regarding the school's application to join the 10-team league. A site visit usually is a formality in a league accepting a new member.
The league apparently was going to conduct the site visit in late November but moved up the dates because of speculation that the Big Sky Conference is interested in UND for either a football-only affiliate or full membership.
It's becoming clear that UND now has two conference possibilities. That certainly wasn't the case a few months ago.
Big Sky athletic directors are meeting this week to discuss, among other things, UND's possible membership in the league. The league's presidents will meet Oct. 19 to review information gathered from this week's meetings of athletic directors.
It'll be a fun few weeks of speculation.

“trying too hard”…. that’s an interesting interpretation.
Wayne, has UND formally applied for the Big Sky since the transition began, like they did with the Summit?

Leave a comment so you can take them down Wayne? Not interested in hearing the truth about UND, its football team, its past and its future? Not the type of thing you like to hear. Contrary to your own version of history is it. Might make people think a little and forget your propaganda? LOL. sometimes when you remove comments it takes away the flow of your discussion, which is light because you are not being truthful. The refrence to playing too hard is to Muss “The Mess” and his hissy fit about USD throwing passes too late in the game and trying to make his terrible football team “look bad”? LOL. Muss already does that better than anyone.
